Seat Cushion
What to Measure
Length:Measure the full seating area from left to right where the seat cushion will rest.
Width:Measure from the front edge of the seat to the back edge.
Thickness:Measure from bottom to top for your desired finished cushion thickness.

Best Practice
Measure only the usable seat area, not the full chair frame. If the chair has arms or side rails, measure the inside space between them so the cushion fits cleanly without being too tight.

Back Cushion
What to Measure
Length:Measure the full back area from left to right where the back cushion will sit.
Width:Measure from the lower starting point of the back cushion to the desired top edge.
Thickness:Measure from bottom to top for your desired finished cushion thickness.

Important Note
If you will use a seat cushion, include the seat cushion thickness when deciding where the back cushion should start. The back cushion should normally begin above the seat cushion, not from the bare seat surface.
